This 36-acre beach park includes various sports fields, an inline skating rink, tennis and basketball courts, and a 20,000-foot skateboard park. The beach is relatively small but the park is large and a favorite gathering place for local kids and families. Lots of picnics and family gatherings are held here as well as festivals and concerts.

Need to Know
The ocean waters near shore at Kalama are rocky and shallow so swimming isn’t great at this beach though it is relatively well protected and so is usually not dangerous. Small kids may enjoy the water more than adults.
