Kayak and snorkel over pristine coral reefs, go camping in a Forest Reserve or take a mule ride down to the historic Kalaupapa Peninsula where the newly designated Saint Damien ministered to the Hansen’s disease (leprosy) patients. Molokai also has some of the best scuba diving in Hawaii and great hiking with a Preserve as well as a National Wildlife Refuge. Visits to the Dunes of Moomomi are guided by the Nature Conservancy. Molokai is known for its huge waterfalls, and also for having the world’s tallest sea cliffs, which you can visit on an ocean sailing cruise. See below for more details on Molokai activities.
